Any idea how long after stopping taking creatine that it leaves the

Also, I'm assuming this corresponds to how long it takes for body
weight to return to pre-creatine levels (at least the weight due to
retension of water in the muscles)?
Well, the conventional advice is to cycle creatine by using it for a
month or two and then quitting for a month...so apparently it takes
about a month for creatine to "leave" the system such that the body
starts making (more of) its own again....
I've been doing creatine and protein powders for over a month now and,
while fun, I'm not sure I'm getting stronger or anything...I will
continue this little experiment probably until the end of the year,
when my supplies run out, and then go back to my regular thing and see
what happens....
