Yes, it's unsavory. But a big diff is that ol' gay Barn was already out.
OTOH, Larry "I'm rilly not gay" Craig has roundly condemned gays only to
be exposed as one himself. IOW, he's a hypocritical POS.

Dems have a lot to be embarrassed about (eg, Wm Jefferson), but at least
it's less of an outrage when an outing like Sen Craig's happens because
dems don't normally claim to be beacons of sexual morality or criticize
alternate lifestyles like conservative repubs so often do.
Of course Dems had Clinton's adventures to deal with - (if I had a blow job
from an intern (provided female of course!) I would have been proud if the
whole world knew about it)
