Well, it's really just about not mandating that Winnie be given
prominence. As your article goes on to point out, naturally
historical principals like him will still be referred to and studied
to some degree when events like WWII are covered.
I admire Rommel. His desert warfare tactics are truly something.
Technically, tactics are up to field-grade officers. General officers
devise strategy.
