Are you threatening me?

no no ha ha ha!! of course not!!! <snip> see Curt, I already told my
immediate family that the June award is in the bag <snip>

Hrmm, well, on my way to the paper shredder with those tax files you
asked me to, uh, file, I went past Charles' expansive, luxurious,
breathtaking office. And, well, I noticed Charles has June Humour
Awards plaques already engraved and hanging on his wall. I didn't
enter his office, of course, and, hey, the far wall is some hundred
yards away from the doorway, so I couldn't see, but I suspect that
Charles has also told his immediate family a similar tale.

Yes, you might ask, if the plaques are a hundred yards from my eyes
then how do I know they're Humour Awards plaques?

Well, the neon, of course.

Neon signs with bright, eye-squinting lettering that blaze the
message: 'CHARLES! WINNER! GOLD! SILVER! BRONZE HUMOUR AWARD WINNER
FOR JUNE 2007! SOD OFF, DAVID, YOU'RE JUST A V.P.!!!' offer a, what
was that word you used? Subtle! I'd say it's a subtle hint of Charles'
expectations.

Anyway, I trust the Humour Committee will make the right choices,
David. Be at ease.

I knew I couldn't trust that Charles guy. I think ever since I fixed him up
with Sameera and he got an itch that didn;t seem to go away - like I should
be resonsible!!! He confided he didn't use a condom because she was so ugly
no man would have gone near her. So I have labelled it "Sameera's Revenge"
