I'm sure we all send Mr Hankey our condolences and sympathy on

What's Saddam doing for New Year's?

Nothing, really. Just Hangin'.

Just wondering. Do you guys have any reasons to hate him? You
don't hate Putin, do you? He also managed to subdue some
terroristic nation without trying to be "civilised" much, so
what's the difference? And contrary to Saddam, he does have some
amounts of weapons of mass destruction.

I think most Americans regret Dubya's disastrous neocon campaign.
Saddam was
still an *** and deserved to die, although the event is kind of
anti-climactic at this point. I don't think the analogy to Putin is
particularly relevant.

I agree. He could fight back.

Exactly. Also, we didn't go to war because Saddam was a bad man. We
went to war due to a hidden agenda, combined with hubris and
incompetence, aided and abetted by a spineless Congress.

Also aided & abetted by our (again) puppet Prime Minister.
