You all know what I have been doing with training and that I want to
run a 5k the last weekend in October. [snip]
But, last year, the top 3 places were all in the 21 minutes catagory.
Yesterday, I ran 3.2 miles in 25:15, which is my best so far.
Intervals are the key to getting faster.
I knocked about 90 seconds off my best 10K time when I raced, so you get a little boost just from racing. But dumping 3 minutes off a 5K time in 2 months training is pretty ambitious, or would be for me.
