Whey proteine intake

I have been trying to figure out some things concerning whey protein
intake, time of day, amounts and what to mix it with for maximum
effect...
I am just going to type up some info I gathered from several sources,
and hope this newsgroup can make me any wiser...
Ok... here goes:
Mornings would apperantly be a good moment to take proteine, best
mixed with water.
I have noticed that using milk was not such a good idea.... (gas)
But is soy milk a good replacement for water or milk? It does taste
alot better.
After the work-out the best would be to mix with fruit juice to
increase the rate at which the body will take in the proteine.
....But from what I have heard is that if you want muscle growth it
works well to take Creatine after the work-out too - but its adviced to
not take creatine in at the same time as the proteine?
Also, an hour or 2 before you go to sleep would work wel.
Now I got 2 different advices on that... One person says its best to
use water because that digests easier then for example, milk.
But someone else told me that yoghurt would be best, because slowing
down the digestion of the proteine during sleep would increase the
effectiveness.
Anyways, I would greatly appreciate it if anyone with some more
knowledge about this could point out some flaws in this post or could
give me some advice.
