Ok, I used your site to calculate my BF today. (I had a trainer at the gym
take the measurements with the gym's metal calipers.) But...I have
discrepancies.

Also, I only took each measurement once, and use that number for the three
values. Don't know if that's a big deal. We were pressed for time.

With the 7 point method, I got 14.88%. Using the same numbers with the 3
point calculation, I got 11.93%. I'm assuming the 7 point is the more
accurate and I really am a fat ***? Do you normally have that much of a
difference.

Everybody carries their fat in different places. It could also be
measurement error. That's one of the reasons that three skinfolds at
each site is recommended.

Also, the trainer thought for sure that the 7 point took a pinch on the
calf. As she remembered it anyway.

Nope. That's the Parillo nine-site.

Are there different methods?

Several.

If so,
why did you choose this one?

The Jackson-Pollock methods[1] are generally considered to be the most
reliable overall. I have a reprint of the journal article if you'd
like to see it. I also have a listing of nine different formula that
use different combinations of skinfold sites.
