I've seen people meticulously rearranging top-posting to make it
readable, but to reverse everything bottom to top takes the
top-posting to hole nothe leval - way to go b00t! How did you master
that mixing of glimpses of critical thinking with naive questions? Are
you a troll? (a funny question to ask, what a troll would
reply?). Love, DZ

LOL what's with you nuts in this group? Thanks for the link (everything
after that is causing me to scratch my head.)

What errors are you finding in his claims? Biggest thing I see there is a
possible conclusion that men don't convert short chain n3's to DHA possibly
due to lack of estrogen. Any further thoughts?

Do you take fish oil sups?

I think you are right. Moreover, since you mentioned Udo, I took a
look at http://www.udoerasmus.com/articles/udo/fish_oil.htm
and now I have suspicions that these writings (with so disarming
logical errors) were sponsored by the evil industry that is producing
those "damaged, fishy fish oil pills". By the time God was mentioned
in the Genetic Variation section, I was ready to throw up a spherical
chiken.

1) Are there any (alleged) benefits to taking Omega 3 short chain EFA's
(the
kind in plant/flax oil.) I understand that a small amount of these can
convert to EPA and DHA and that these are the reasons why we want O3's
but
that fish oils (long chain) are a much better source. Ie. why not just
take
fish oils instead?

2) Why do makers of 3:6:9 blends support the claim that we should strive
for
a better ratio of 3:6's but purposely add more 6's to these blends when
supposedly a big problem is that we already get too much 6 in our western
diets. I understand that if you depended solely on these blends for your
EFA's then they would have a great ratio but that is unlikely. So
basically
why are they offering us more 6's/promoting these blends (ie. UDO's)

3) How can you tell if fish oil caps contain rancid oil? I'm confused
because some people say that a fish smell is normal and some say that means
= rancid. Which is it and how can you best tell?
.
