I'm still trying to figure out what technology it uses to cycle the
action (gas or recoil). Also, I wonder if it's adjustable. I've seen
many a Black Eagle fail to fire on light target loads and have fired
heavy waterfowl loads that kicked like a mule. The point being it may
be a horse*** shotgun for waterfowl. But, who wants to use a $1000+
shotgun for waterfowl because it WILL rust to some degree.
I have a Baikal that has a patent pending adjustable action that uses
recoil to cycle the action. It actually works pretty good and I'd
like to see more manufacturers use that technology. Who'd a thunk the
Ruskies would have come up with that one.
There may be a reason he's limited to a 28 gauge.
