When I'm not picky about it, I find that a gainer powder has all the
right bits in the right proportions, and mixes well with water. I put
the right amount of powder in the shaker bottle and take it with me.
After the workout, add 1/3 of the water and shake. The 1/3 water
makes it mix better. After that's mixed in, add the other 2/3 water
and drink.
I use CN's "Super Heavyweight Gainer 1200". It's got a bit higher fat
content than most people are looking for, but it's not much, and it's
got vitamins and minerals too. And tastes good.
At the moment I am picky, so I mixed my own - dextrose powder and ON's
"Any Whey" in water, blend. Good thing for strawberries or I'm not
sure I could stomach it :-P
