But it wasn't invalid, because I was applying it to David's specific case, in the scenario where he WAS stying to help. I was getting to the point that there were some people there who deserved compassion.
A little bit of distance running wouldn't kill you, either.

Yes, excellent advice. I'm sure my mildly arthritic ankes, knees, and hips would MUCH prefer running to the mountain hiking that I do now.
Dally's advice on politics, exercise, and the ethics of compassion will all be give equal consideration.
