ok, I'll admit to watching the fuckign "celebrity fit club" on vh1 the other night. One of the fitness advisers or whatever was chastising one of the minor league celebrities on the show for taking some appetite suppressant which was never named. I'll have to assume it was some common tim spa type thing. Anyway, the adviser on the show was lamenting how these things "screw up your metabolism". What the helll does that mean? Is it possible that some of these can actually slow down the metabolism? I always thought that for better or worse they just sped it up? Or is that a bad thing?
I know this is a really vague question but I was just curious what people here thought. A google search of this group for such things, especially the ECA stack turns up a lot of results here so I assume there are plenty peple here taking these things.
