My husband must have shorter legs than most guys. He wears a 42
waste and 28 long. It's nearly impossible to find pants shorter
than 30. Then I have to listen to him complain all the time about
walking on his pants. I so not sew, and dont want to. Actually
there is no reason I should have to sew new pants to fit him. They should sell them to fit all men, and I'm sure
there are other
men that need shorter pants.
Asidefrom having his pants custom made, which is beyond our
budget, is there anywhere to get shorter pants?
It takes about half an hour to shorten a pair of pants and takes no
sewing skill at all. Stop whining and learn to do it. Or let him
do it.
pants that have the perfect length. I've never worried about
length, so long as they were long enough. I've always expected to
have to shorten. I've done it for thirty years, at least, all by myself.
You're right, it's no big deal. I can't imagine people walking
around with pants that are too long because they can't imagine doing the tiny bit of work needed to shorten them.
This is what comes of living in a welfare state,
Nope, it actually comes from ear to ear dog shit.
and it's due to get worse.
Wrong again. The most that will happens is that fools like that use more duct tape.
