Looking at new refrigerators, bottom freezer vs side-by-side. Any
thoughts on the advantages or disadvantages of each?
Side by side is nice in that all the stuff you frequently use
is right at arm level, no bending over unless you want to.
The down side is that everything is very narrow. The freezer
on my unit is so narrow that some pizzas do not fit right.
The bottom freezer is nice if you have a lot of stuff to
freeze--you don't have the width limit.
I find I use the ice & water dispenser the most. In my case,
I found the one with the best ice & water system, and then
everything else fell into place.
