I just heard on the tv news that Google is going to buy
doubleclick.net, which if you dont already know, is one of the
biggest spam sites on the internet. A very large portion of the
ads on websites comes from doubleclick. As soon as I heard
this, I removed Google from my list of search engine links.
Bet that will have the google suits pouring from their
windows like lemmings as soon as they read this post.
Consider this a boycott against Google.
See above.
Google started out as a great search engine, but
they have been going downhill for the last few years.
Nope, they've improved considerably.
You can say that with a straight face? I mean come on. Google has
gutted Deja's usenet archive, attempts to research just about any
topic return the same 1000 pages of junk/scam/spam/fake search
sites.
Huh? I use google groups daily, looking up programming information,
home repair junk etc. They only index it, they don't write the
content, for crissake.
