If someone malicious sees a check of yours, blank or used, and even if
you stop payment on the check, what prevents them from using the
routing and account number to initiate a EFT to their account at any
future time they choose?
Whoever processes that EFT is responsible for proving
that it was done with your authorization.
nopa. the banks pay it w/o checking with you or for a sig. it's up to
YOU to prove it was fraud.
