Yes. Now Washington Mutant bank after merged.

No need to close it. Especially if you want to stick it to them. ;) Just
pay it off, and use the card every couple of months to buy something
small. You'll get all the benefits of an open tradeline, available
credit, but none of the worries of ratejackings or credit limit
decreases.

I've heard a lot of bad stories about Chase. Myself, I haven't had any
troubles, and there are a lot of companies that are far worse. Like
CapitalOne, HSBC and bunch of other subprime scum.

CaptialOne?! I have one CaptialOne card too but has fixed APR and they did
not ratejack it for many years. Which bank is recommended?
