i don't get any extra rebate-related junk postal mail either. I am opted
out on every list
i can opt out of -- DMA, credit bureaus' marketing lists (separate from the
pre-approval opt-out), etc.
My junk mail comes from free trade rags. Sign up for those, & it's part
of the deal.
some of them, like Staples, do automatically assume you want their email.
