Cuisinart Coffee maker

Have a 3 year old Cuisinart coffee maker that now is little more than a slow release "puddle maker" on my countertop.

Wrote to them and they responded with "it is out of warranty, probably has a seam in the bottom that cracked."

I really don't think 3 years is a reasonable lifespan for something as simple as a coffee maker...especially one that cost nearly $100 to start with.

Last Cuisinart POS I'll buy.
