1. NEVER give a debit card number out like this! Always use a credit
card or companies like "TLG GREATFUN" could wipe out a bunch of money
from your checking account and you'd have to fight to get your own
money back.
2. They are counting on your forgetting to cancel.
3. Buy.com also did something with Great Fun. You got a $25 rebate on
your Buy.com purchase if you tried 60 days of Great Fun. We mailed in
the rebate expecting to get nothing as these places normally wait at
least 60 days to mail the check to see if you are going to stay.
Luckily, we got the $25 rebate check after a month and were able to
cancel before the trial ended. But you have to keep track of this
stuff.
If you see ANY charges you didn't authorize from TLG GREATFUN or
membership clubs like that, DISPUTE THEM with your credit card company.
99% of the time, the credit card company will credit you without
question. No need to pay for crap like that!
