Okay so the market was doing okay and we decided to purchase a bigger
KB Home than the one we already have (in California) and in a different
community. Well the home will be finished in mid September and we need
to back out of it. We have already given our deposit and they say we're
locked in but there ought to be a way out. They already got a pre
approval sent over and that is the supposed last chance for backing
out. However, the pre approval is based on us putting 5% down and we
can't do that unless our current home sells. The way the market is, we
can't get what we need out of this house to afford the next one. Anyone
have any ideas how we might be able to get out of this nightmare???

What did your lawyer say when you asked him about it?
