allow me to clarify a few things
1. the "licensed" electrician ( who was not licensed ) just upgraded
the service board to 200 amps.
and he wired in an electric dryer which is fine. the service board
upgrade was fine except he did not use the correct gauge of cooper
ground. he left in the ground that is used for 100 amp service. I had
that corrected. The actual in house wiring was done by the contractor.
he is the one who may have screwed some stuff up.
So, the fact that the rest of the electrical work was done by someone
not even pretending to be a licensed electrician makes you feel better?
I wonder how it will make your insurance company feel if the house
should burn down one day and the fire is attributed to improper wiring.
