So, das Problem ist gelöst.

Ich hatte ursprünglich webfertige JPGs erzeugt - bei denen wird wegen
der geringeren Dateigröße der ganze Ressourceteil weggelassen.

Damit kann der Philips nichts anfangen.

Sichere ich jedoch in Photoshop ein JPG ganz normal mit Vorschau und
allem Anderen, gibts kein Problem.

Mit Videos siehts auch gut aus. Diverse MPEG2 und h.264/AAC Videos für
iPod laufen ohne Probleme.
