werde ich gerade zum TeXen vorsorglich bei Windows bleiben. Aber auch
andere freie Anwendungen wie OOo sind ja eher ... problematisch bis
ärgerlich auf dem Mac.


Naja, so verallgemeinern würde ich das nicht. MacOS kommt mit X11 und
Unix-Anwendungen laufen nativ, ohne Emulationsschicht wie Cygwin. Wer
sich stundenlang mit gcc-Cross-Compilern unter Cygwin rumgeärgert hatte
weil Windows verlangt war und nicht Linux, weiß, wovon ich rede.
