T41 macht kein WPA2 mit AES

moin,
habe ähnliches schon in einem OS-Forum gefragt, vielleicht ist es hier
aber besser aufgehoben. Ich bin mit der xpSP3-Installation eines
Thinkpad T41 ins neue Jahr gerutscht. Am Ende blieb das Problem, daß
der Cisco Systems PCI Wireless LAN Adapter mit dem XP kein WPA2 machen
will.

Die Treiber sind aktuell von lenovo (d.h.aus 2004). Das WPA mit TKIP
funktioniert, die beiden M$-Hotfixes für's WPA aus der SP2-Zeit
nimmt das SP3 nicht mehr an.

Beim Vergleich mit meinem WPA2-kompetenten T43 fällt auf, daß in den
XP-Eigenschaften der drahtlosen Netzwerkverbindung unter den
verwendeten Elementen/Protokollen ZUSÄTZLICH ein "Wireless
Intermediate
Driver" aufgeführt ist.

Falls dieser für WPA2 erforderlich ist, wie bekommt man ihn von wo
geladen?
Was kann man sonst noch machen, damit die WPA2-Option endlich vom
Windows angezeigt wird?
