Naja, gehts nach Apple und dem Gesetzgeber darfst Du das (noch
eingebaute) interne Modem ja ohnehin nicht ohne dem externen Apple
Eumel namens Leitungsadapter verwenden, oder?
(technisch gehst freilich auch direkt ab RJ-11, aber darum gehts ja
nicht)

Aber prinzipiell hat Apple schon recht mit dem Modem. Der Bedarf geht
sehr sehr stark zurück und ich als alter DFÜler habe ehrlich gesagt
sicher schon seit inzwischen mehr als 5 Jahren kein Modem mehr
angeworfen. De facto findest Du ja überall entweder Breitband oder
WiFi und ansonsten schaffst Du mit GPRS zu akzeptablen Preisen auch die
Modembandbreite.
