Hallo, OS X 10.6.4., mit der *unbedachten* Verwendung von 'dscl' habe
ich meine User-ID gelöscht ("sudo dscl . -delete /Users/savi
UniqueID"). Ich weiss, erst lesen, dann lesen, und dann lieber lassen,
wenn man nicht sicher ist. Tja. Ich bin angemeldet als savi, aber
"whoami" druckt mir 502 an, und ich kann mich vor keinem Systembefehl
mehr authentifizieren, und sudo druckt "unknown uid 502". Root ist
nicht aktiviert. Komme ich irgendwie an einer Neuinstallation vorbei?

Benutze doch den Account mit der UID 501, sofern du diesem noch
Admin-Rechte verpasst hattest.

Vielleicht mit meinem zweiten MBP, für den ich Admin-Rechte besitze?

Firewire Target mode, dich am zweiten MBP zu Root machen (sudo -s),
dann mittels
dscl -f /Volumes/anderer-mac/var/db/DirectoryService/flatfile.db ...
den User wieder (mit admin-rechten) anlegen.

Danach aus dieser Erfahrung lernen und dir einen separaten Account zum
Administrieren anlegen und deinem User die Admin-Privilegien entziehen.
