Sollte man heute nicht mehr machen, da der von Microsoft nicht mehr weiterentwickelt wird und auch schon längst nicht mehr die aktuellsten WMV-Codes kann.
Stattdessen kannst du dir das nun kostenlose Flip4Mac WMV (http://www.flip4mac.com/) runterladen; damit kannst du Windows Media-Inhalte in Quicktime abspielen.

Dafür
klicke ich die microsoft seite dann finde ich den link zum downloaden.
Wenn ich auf den link klicke microsoft sendet mir ein installer. Hier
beginnt das problem!! weil mein mac diese datei als EXEL datei sieht
und will unbedingt mit exel öffnen... somit kann ich mit download
nicht beginnen....


Ex*c*el heißt das Programm übrigens :)

die datei heißt installer.bin

Das ist eine binärkodierte, ausführbare Datei. Um die "auszupacken" brauchst du z. B. den Allume Expander (früher StuffIt Expander).
Steht aber auch bei "Before you install this download" auf der Seite:
"Make sure Allume Systems StuffIt Expander version 6 or later is installed on your computer. If an earlier version of StuffIt Expander is installed on your computer, you might not be able to install this download."

Wer lesen kann ist klar im Vorteil ;-)
