Weiss nicht genau, was Du mir damit sagen wolltest - die 194.25.134.50 aus
meiner Mail stammt ja vom Ping an den POP3 Server - den zu erreichen ist ja
kein Problem.

Falls der weitere Verlauf der telnet Sitzung mich darauf hinweisen sollte,
dass dieser POP3 Server auf dem Port 25 auch SMTP macht - das war ein
netter Hinweis zu einem funktionierenden Workaround - mit
popmail.t-online.de als SMTP Server und Authentifizierung konnte ich jetzt
wenigstens ne Mail verschicken ;-)

Ping sagt halt nur aus, dass am anderen Ende jemand lauscht, sagt aber
nicht auf welchem Port jemand dort lauscht.

Ping ist ICMP, wenn Ping durch Deine Firewälle durchgeht, heisst dass
noch lange nicht, dass der Port XY erreichbar ist.

Wenn dass geht, liegts an mail.app und wenn nicht, lässt dein MacBook
