Das ist falsch. Autoupdate gibts bei Windows schon etwas länger. Das
wurde bei Windows 2000 nach meinen Informationen mit dem Service Pack 3

Es war auch schon in WinXP RTM enthalten und zumindest in WinXP SP1 Pro
auch defaultmäßig aktiviert. Aber die meisten Benutzer kennen nur WinXP
Home, und da ist das erst seit SP2 so.
