FTP: Verbindungsabbruch am Server anzeigen

Hallo,

woher weiß man bei FTP am Server (Linux), wann der Client
mit der Übertragung der Datei fertig ist?

Ich (Server Admin) möchte bei einem Verbindungsabbruch informiert
werden.

Das Wiederaufnehmen einer abgebrochenen Verbindung
wird in meinem Fall nicht vorkommen.

Mir ist bloß wichtig, dass keine halben Dateien herumstehen.

Leider kann ich keine Änderungen am Client (SAP) vornehmen. Diese
Aufgabe muss also am Server gelöst werden. Ich kann auch kein
besseres Protokoll verwenden.

Wenn man nach FTP sucht findet man nur die anderen Probleme, die
hier keine Rolle spielen (Plain Text Password, Firewall Probleme wegen
der zweiten TCP-Verbindung, ...)

Derzeit wird vsftpd verwendet. Das könnte aber ggf. geändert werden.
