ich hatte bei der Installation von Ubuntu Feisty das gleiche Problem.
Nur durch manuelles Verändern des von dir erwähnten Eintrages konnte ich
Grub dazu bewegen überhaupt den Kernel zu booten. Irgendwie recht
komisch, dass sowas bei einer stink normalen Standardinstallation
notwendig war.
