WLAN ohne SSID Broadcast

Hallo allerseits,

ich besitze die WLAN-Karte 3Com 3CRDAG675 und wollte nun unter Debian
SID per WLAN (Router ist die Fritz!Box Fon WLAN 7050) im Internet
surfen. An Treibern habe ich madwifi installiert. Zum Schutz der
Verbindung habe ich WAP (TKIP) eingeschaltet und wpa-supplicant installiert.
Nun zum Problem: Wenn ich am Router den SSID Broadcast eingeschaltet
lasse, komme ich ohne Probleme ins Netz. Dazu geben ich die folgenden
Befehle ein:

iwconfig ath0 essid "Meine SSID"
ifconfig ath0 192.168.178.22
wpa_supplicant -D madwifi -c Konfig -i ath0 -d
route add default gw 192.168.178.1

Nun möchte ich aber den Broadcast aus Sicherheisgründen gerne
abschalten, dann kommt jedoch nach dem aufrufen von "wpa_supplicant -D
madwifi -c Konfig -i ath0 -d": "No suitable AP Found". Meine
Konfig-Datei für wpa-supplicant sieht so aus:

network={
ssid="Meine SSID"
scan_ssid=1
key_mgmt=WPA-PSK
psk="Mein Key"
}

(Ist zwar sehr minimalistisch, hat aber mit Broadcast geklappt) Der
Grund, warum er keinen passenden AP findet ist anscheinend der, dass er
nach dem Scannen mein WLAN anstatt mit "Meine SSID" immer mit ""
aufführt (klar -> der Name wird ja nicht bekannt gegeben).
Wie muss ich meine Konfiguration abändern, um ohne SSID ins Netz zu kommen?
