ich versuche jetzt schon seit ein paar Tagen freebsd zu installieren.
Zuerst hatte ich irgendeinen Lesefehler bei der Installation.
Darauf habe ich die Bootcd neu gebrannt und ausserdem die Festplatte mit
Fat32 anstatt NTFS formatiert.

FAT32? NTFS? Waere mir neu, dass sich FreeBSD auf sowas kaputtem
installieren laesst.

Jedoch hängt die Installation jetzt ohne irgendeine Fehlermeldung!
Die letzte Ausgabe ist:

Wie lange hast Du gewartet?
Was sagt ein "boot -v"?
Checksumme der CD passt?

Ich bin mit meiner Weisheit hier am Ende.
Ist das eine Inkompatibilität mit dem CD-ROM Laufwerk?

Nein.
QSI ist zwar Sondermuell, sollte aber trotzdem zur Installation
ausreichend sein.
