Computer friert öfter ein.

Hallo NG,

gelegentlich friert mein Computer ein. Bei täglicher Nutzung passiert das so
ca. 2 mal pro Woche. Es handelt sich um eine WorkStation von Dell, Model
Precision 390 - Weil von den insgesamt 4 Steckplätzen von Ram-Modulen
lediglich zwei belegt sind glaube ich, dass der PC den Inhalt des
Ramspeichers im laufenden Betrieb verliert- weil die Kontakte der restlichen
zwei Steckplätze nicht geschlossen sind...kann das sein? Ich hatte mal von
Dell einen Dimension 8200, da waren auch nur zwei Steckplätze belegt. In den
Anderen steckte aber sogenannte Terminatoren, damit die Kontakte geschlossen
sind. Vielleicht gibt es solche Teile ja auch für die PrecisionWorkstation
390...vielleicht weiß da Jemand was...Die Ram-Bausteine sind vom Typ DDR-2,
240 Pin, ECC-Registred, PC2-5300, 667MZz, von Nanja Technology- jedoch ohne
"Heat-Spreader", wie ich es zum Beispiel von Rambus-Modulen kenne...Die
Chips liegen also frei, und sind nicht durch einen Metallschutz abgedeckt.
