Die Medion-Anweisungen (hier vom MS-7012) zum Bios-flash sind da doch eigentlich ganz hilfreich:

1. Entpacken Sie die heruntergeladene Datei in ein von Ihnen gewähltes Verzeichnis (Anmerkung: Partition auf FP muss fat32 sein)

2. Anschliessend starten Sie den Computer mit Hilfe der "Medion Application & Support-CD".

3. Im MS Windows CD-ROM-Startmenü wählen Sie "Von CD-ROM starten" und daraufhin im Support-CD Startmenü Punkt 3 "MS-DOS Eingabeaufforderung".

4. Nun wechseln Sie in den Ordner mit den von Ihnen entpackten Dateien, der sich nun auf Partition C: befindet und starten die Datei xxx.bat

5. Das Update wird nun ausgeführt.

6. Abschließend führen Sie nur noch einen Neustart aus und der Vorgang ist beendet.

Bitte berücksichtgen Sie, dass sich einige Bios Werte im Anschluss an das Update verändert haben können. Deswegen sollten Sie stets Ihre wichtigsten Parameter vorher notieren.

Auf diesem Weg (Ende 3.) käme man auf jeden Fall in eine DOS-Umgebung, dort ins entsprechende Verzeichnis wechseln, bzw. alternativ, wenn ohne FP, die 3 flash-Dateien (flash-Programm, BIOS-Binärdatei sowie meist eine Batch-Datei, die die notwendigen Parameter bereits enthält) auf Diskette kopieren, Batch-Datei starten, Bios wird neu geflasht.
