Also ein Medion OEM. Vielleicht ist ein BIOS-Update sinnvoll.
Version 1.09 mag zwar Medion-eigen sein, aber MSI selber hat eben
schon andere Versionsnummern im Angebot (siehe oben).
Alles auf eigenes Risiko!!

Mit den MED-S/N- oder MD-LT- Nummern (hinten auf Medion Aufkleber)
koennte man bei Medion auch nach Updates suchen.

mit dem MSI Live Update überprüft, ob Bios etc. auf dem
letzten Stand, einzig der Chipset Treiber wurde upgedated.

Ich wuerde dennoch 'mal nachsehen, denn wenn Medion das BIOS erst bei
1.09 hat und die (vielleicht) mit den Nummern von MSI ueberein
stimmen, gibt es doch schon Neueres.
Um die Version des Board zu ermitteln muss man meist auf der Platine
suchen. Wenn ich das Manual 2 richtig deute, ist es gross neben dem
CPU-Sockel in weisser Schrift aufgedruckt, wenn es V.2 ist.

System-HD: Seagate ST340810A (40GB), IDE; läuft auf Primary Master;
gegenständliche HD (welche mein Problem bereitet): Western Digital
WD5000AAKB, IDE, an Primary Slave angeschlossen (aber auch probweise an
Secondary Slave, Problem ist das gleiche).

Ich hatte bei aelteren Systemen probleme, dass ein kleiner Master
(<128GB) grosse Probleme bereitet hat, wennd er Slave sehr gross
(>300GB) war. Vielleicht einfach die Platten 'mal entsprechend
umjumpern (Grosse HDD als Master oder Single betreiben).
