danke euch beiden für eure Antworten. Was ich noch nicht ganz kapiere
ist: wann und wo ordnet Windows seine Laufwerksbuchstaben zu? Das Clonen
läuft wie folgt ab: ich starte das Programm (Acronis), wähle klonen,
dann sagt mir das Tool sinngemäß: "Dazu muss ich Neustarten, weil die
Partition im Zugriff ist". Das ist ja okay, also Neustart, und dann
kommt vor dem Windows-Start eine Art Textkonsole, die dann eine gute
Stunde vor sich hinklont, anschliessend wird Windows gestartet.

Nachdem der Klonvorgang beendet ist und bevor windows startet,
schaltest Du das System aus und baust die alte HDD aus.
