PHP und PostGreSQL

Hallo NG.

Ich habe sämtliche SQL-Statements mit PHP erfolgreich an MySQL senden können. Nun möchte ich das ganze auch mit PostGreSQL 8.0 machen. Leider scheint PHP die Funktionen dafür aber nicht zu kennen.

Nun habe ich also versucht, mich schlau zu machen. In meinem Apache Webserver ist eine Extension für PGSQL eingetragen. Die Kommentierung davor habe ich weggenommen und den Server neu gestartet. Dennoch die gleiche Fehlermeldung.

Gibt es ein Modul, welches ich irgendwo herunterladen kann? Fehlt PHP vielleicht nur eine Bibliothek, die ich irgendwo finden kann?
Wie bekomme ich PHP und PostGreSQL zusammen? Worauf muss ich achten?
