Parallels: Come si recuperano i dati?

Mio padre ha (aveva) Parallels installato con una licenza di Windows
2000 ed alcuni programmi e documenti.
Da ieri Windows non funziona più... e ha deciso di piantarsi di
brutto: non entra nemmeno in modalità provvisoria e appena lanciato
segnala che alcune librerie del kernel sono andate a p***ane per
sempre. E qui arriviamo al mio problema... esiste qualche utility che
mi permetta di aprire il file .hdd di Parallels che contiene
l'immagine virtuale del disco e tirare fuori quello che mi serve?
