Posto su questo NG con Google ed ho parecchi problemi, succede ad altri?

Ciao! Sono abbastanza fresco di Mac (quindi ancora niente Zuppa e
simili).
Per postare uso Google, sotto Firefox. Mi succede MOLTO spesso che non
mi vada a buon fine la connessione col NG, ad es. quando vi invio una
risposta: il sistema sta lì quasi fermo, a volte l'invio va a buon
fine dopo diverso tempo, altre volte non c'è niente da fare e devo
addirittura chiudere Firefox e riavviarlo. Vorrei sapere se altri hanno
problemi simili.
La mia impressione è che il problema stia nel modem ADSL che uso (o
nel suo software), che è uno standard fornito da Tiscali. Dico questo
perché ad es. ho anche questo altro problema. Accendo il Mac, accendo
anche il modem poi lo collego via USB. Poi lancio i programmi
(Thunderbirb e Firefox) e non sempre la cosa va a buon fine. Stasera ad
es. non c'è stato verso di avere il collegamento alla prima. Senza
scollegare il modem, ho dovuto riavviare il Mac e niente ancora. Allora
ho riavviato e pure spento il modem, poi riacceso ed allora finalmente
ho avuto la connessione. Grazie. Saluti
