nessun driver di terze parti, un equivalente di hpijs per hp? probabilmente c'è, guarda su http://www.linuxprinting.org/macosx/

Lo scanner, ancora Canon ha un CD x Mac ma gira solo su
OS9. Ho visto che il mio iMac, nelle preferenze di sistema ha una
icona "classic 9" e ho l'impresione che sia la soluzione del problema
scanner ma ... come cavolo si attiva questo sistema ? Io sono entrato e
vedo sempre grigiata la voce "avvia" ...

Qua dico la mia, ma potrei toppare: installando il driver in Classic, poi potresti usarlo solo là. ripeto, è solo la mia idea, aspetta altri pareri.

Qualche anima generosa potrebbe spiegarmi con parole semplice se si
può avviare e come e in genere che passi dovrei seguire per poter far
funzionare questo benedetto scanner sotto osx 10.4.

Sempre con la stessa premessa di prima: credo si possa far partire solo avviando un'applicazione che richiede Classic.
