I have a latex document which has a counter "mycount"
defined at the preamble. The counter is incremented here and
there in the document text. I want to print the final value
of this counter appear at the beginning of the document.
Obviously if I simply use \arabic{mycount} at the start
of document I will always get 0. How can I make the correct
final value appear at the top? I suspect somehow I must
force latex through a second pass but I am not sure how this
is done. Can anybody help please?
This has been discussed recently, see this thread:
