BibTeX/Natbib/Chapterbib + hyperref problem

Dear all,

I am using Natbib (with chapterbib) for my thesis. When I compile my files with PDFLaTeX I get the following warnings for every chapter of the thesis (they are separate files using the \include command):

Token not allowed in a PDFDocEncoded string,(hyperref) removing `\uppercase' on input line 1. Token not allowed in a PDFDocEncoded string,(hyperref) removing `\uppercase'

Token not allowed in a PDFDocEncoded string,(hyperref) removing `\lowercase' on input line 1. Token not allowed in a PDFDocEncoded string,(hyperref) removing `\lowercase'

I understand that it has to do with the capitalization of some words in my bibliography (using brackets), but is there a way to get rid of the errors? \texorpdfstring will not work.
