As before, I use movie15.sty to embed films. This workstry dvips with -z0
nicely with ps2pdf and relative path names for the files.
In Acrobat Pro 8 on OSX 10.4.11, a few months ago,
I managed to do the ps to pdf conversion
as well, using the built-in DIstiller,
using absolute path names for the movie files.
Now I upgraded to version Acrobat 8.1.2, and nothing works.
Distiller says: undefinedfilename; OffendingCOmmand: file
The filename given is correct however.
What could be wrong?
I am doing that already. To be sure, I compared
the ps file with absolute and that with relative
path names using the unix diff command.
They really differ only in the file name,
and the absolute filename is correct.
and what is set in your config.ps file?
