Thanks for pointing out; I had noticed that open and close braces were
missing at many places. It is not a very large file so I might be able
to replace these offending characters manually. Would you happen to
know any other set of macros that could do what this botched file is
supposed to do? Regards,
Not really: you want to use eplain. The bigfoot package creates
in-paragraph footnotes according to a set of tunable criteria, but it
is a LaTeX package. Retrofitting it to eplain would likely be a piece
of work since it makes extensive use of the LaTeX reference mechanism
and some other stuff.
