fourier + dvips -E odd boundingbox

On http://home.imf.au.dk/daleif/tmp/ you will find fil.tex, with the contents:
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{fourier}
\usepackage{geometry}
\geometry{textwidth=216.48856pt}
\pagestyle{empty}
\usepackage{amssymb,array}
\begin{document}
\begin{tabular}{>{$}l<{$} p{5.5cm}}
\mathbb{R} & Reelle tal\\
\mathbb{C} & Komplekse tal\\
\mathrm{SU}(n) & Gruppe af specielle
unitære $n\times n$-matricer\\
\dots & \dots
\end{tabular}
\end{document}
If I compile this with
latex (pdfeTeX 3.141592-1.30.4-2.2 (Web2C 7.5.5), from TL 2005), and run
dvips -E -o fil.eps fil.dvi (dvips(k) 5.95b)
I get http://home.imf.au.dk/daleif/tmp/fil.eps, the bounding box of that file is wrong. If I outcomment the fourier package in the example above, I get http://home.imf.au.dk/daleif/tmp/rigtig-fil.eps, with a bounding box as expected.
Apparently using
pdfeTeX, Version 3.141592-1.21a-2.2 (MiKTeX 2.4)
dvips(k) 5.94b
does not show this particular problem.
Can anyone else verify this problem, and/or explain why this happens and how we can fix it?
