Thanks for the suggestions guys, but believe it or not, I'm going to go
with Peter's suggestion (:

As my document has evolved, the need for referencing the lists has
declined, and I've removed a few of the lists. They were awkward to
one of the reviewers in the first place, so it doesn't take much to
convince me to get rid of them.
