afaik, no such package exists. The greatest problem of TeX is the problem of financing efforts:) Do
my faq.cls/faq.sty combination works (in a sort of sense) for the
task, but is hung about with all sorts of restrictions on what you can
write, based on the vagaries of its (painful) latex->html conversion
code (if i were doing the job today, i would probably have used
tex4ht, but at the time we started the faq was being written by a
committee, and the latex->html conversion was done by alan jeffrey).
if i've not already put you off, the code is on ctan, at
help/uk-tex-faq; this doesn't include the scripts for generating html,
because i'm less than totally proud of them. maybe after i've
rewritten the whole thing ... this year, next year, some time, never.
(i had spam today from a web design company suggesting that for a mere
£99.00 they would redo www.tex.ac.uk for me. a pity they actually
want money :-} )
you think it is hard to convert the FAQ to a more accessible format?
Some kind of xml and/or wiki and a script for conversion to LaTeX and
html could be good. I've looked through the source and do not see any
great difficulties. There are some formatting oddities, but they could
be smoothed out during convertion. The bulk of FAQ is consistently
written.
